There is a walkthrough available with pictures for this game. It isn't as step by step as some of the walkthroughs that I have seen the other fishies on here post, but it is enough to give you an idea of what needs to be done in order to finish the level within the time frame.I too fought with RE1 with the time limits to be able to get the bonus levels, but the walkthroughs posted in the fishie forums got me through the main level and all of the bonus levels. Not sure if this will help anyone else, but thought I would throw it out there.Edited on at 7:12:56 AM PST.
From the other threads starting to appear here asking for help with specific levels, it seems that many players haven't been consulting the built-in Strategy Guide. It's available on Extras/Walkthrough from the main game menu and will allow you to discover the step-by-step strategies for winning Gold (3 Stars) on every Adventure level, even in Expert Mode. It's only available for levels in each Region you have unlocked.During play of any individual level, you can click on the '?' Button at the top right of the screen to see the suggested Strategy for that particular level. The game timer pauses until you return to play.BFG did not write the 'Walkthrough' for this game. We did on our website that also includes VIDEOS of each level, along with Strategies for each Bonus Challenge Level and all the Achievements. We even have a Reference section that explains more about how the game works.(the developer) received permission to include our strategies in the Walkthrough for the BFG CE release of the game.We can't post the link to our website here (or it will get removed by moderators), but we can tell you that if you do a web search for 'Royal Envoy 2 Strategy Guide' (including the quotes) you should be able to find it without too much difficulty. There are also links to it at the Popular-Game-Review-Site-That-Must-Not-Be-Named.Best wishes to all and Happy Gaming!Edited on at 1:05:35 PM PST.
I, too, got the game direct from the developer and because it did not have a strategy guide like the first one did, I wrote a walkthrough for 3-star-expert-times for the website where I post walkthroughs. Just google what you need along with 'Kristi' and you will be pointed in the right direction. It sounds like there is plenty of info out there for everyone who needs help and sometimes one person's best strategies are still hard and someone else might have a different take that will work better for you.I absolutely loved this game. I'm sorry I can't hang out here to help you guys out but I'm busy working on walkthroughs for other games and just don't have the time. Your 'secret' in your walkthrough helped immensely!p.s. I don't have a built in strategy guide in mine. I too bought this directly from Playrix instead of BFG since I wanted the game when it came out before Thanksgiving instead of waiting a month for it to appear on BF's site.I'm very disgusted that I bought the CE version and Playrix didn't include a walkthrough/guide yet was the same price as BF has it.what the heck?I G'led (won't spell it out as it might get removed) and got a decent one off Gzb's site that includes pictures.
Also, you can't always assume people bought it off BFG site, it can rub people the wrong way.Good luck to all on this one, I get a little stuck even replaying the game for the 3rd time but it's worth the money. I loved both games, and finally got 100% achievements. The only hope I have for RE3 would be a tally in the achievement area for count items, so I can know which enhancements I need to get up to total, or how many lanterns left to light.GREAT GAMES developers!p.s. I rather suspect that the developers had tongue in cheek when they decided that we had to replay certain levels as many as 30 times in order to gain all of the achievements. I would have liked some less boring way to end the game with 100%. Still, the game is addictive and enjoyable in many ways!
